One of the best sellers on the farm is quail. So much so that we have a hard time keeping them in stock. We raise cortunix quail, most of which are rare or fancy colorations. We raise our birds in a more extensive flight pen rather than cages as we have found that the birds tend to stay in better health. As such, we get all kinds of colors!
Adult birds – $ 10 each. We sell 2 hens to 1 male ratio if buying in bulk.
Quail chicks unsexed – $5 each up to 3 weeks old
Hatching eggs – $10dz
If you do not have an incubator, we can incubate 30 eggs for $40 and you keep everything that hatches (must be picked up within 2 days of hatching) We generally have a 70-80%hatch rate.
We have recently begun raising ringneck pheasant as well if you are interested we have a few.
